Gayle wins Jamaica's
Cricketer of the Year title
Left-handed
opening batsman Christopher Gayle won Jamaica's
Cricketer of the Year title - the second year in a row that he has received the honor.
Gayle, 26, received the award
from the Jamaica Cricket Association on
Wednesday.
Gayle did not have an impressive year in Test matches for the West Indies, but still made 317 against South
Africa in the fourth and final match at the Antigua Recreation Ground in May.
He was one of the stars of the Jamaican
team that won the Busta International Shield in March, scoring two centuries, 131 and 150, against the Leeward
