Women lead government's education drive:-

New Delhi:- The first ever “Womanned” department of government of India from secretary Kumund  Bhansal to three other secretaries Vrindha Swaroopm,Vandana K Jena and Anuradha Gupta and two directors- Prerna Gulati and Anuradha Mall are at thehelm of some of the government’s most ambicious programs.It is of over 7000 crs of Sarva Shiksha Abhyan (SSA),mid day meal scheme and national literacy mission together they are striving towards success. These four unassuming women IAS officials are working towards ensuring that every child goes to school, get at least one meal a day and no adult remains illiterate.
