India, Pak step closer to group tourism

India and Pakistan have inched closer to introducing, for the first time, a category of tourist visa for travel between both countries with the latter agreeing to a two-year-old suggestion by New Delhi for permitting group tourism between both countries.

Portugal to begin an economic rediscovery of India


Lisbon, january 10: As the Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva visits India this week, the European country hopes to begin an economic rediscovery of the sub-continent. Silva is accompanied by a 70-strong business and trade delegation, who appear to be bullish about entering into new partnerships and trade agreements with India.
